The Green Bay Packers announced a $7,500 contribution of brand‑new football helmets to ten high school programs across Wisconsin, marking the latest phase of the team’s Helmet Give Back initiative.
The equipment, intended to supplement or replace aging gear, will be distributed to schools including Weyauwega‑Fremont, Abundant Life Christian, Arcadia, Hillsboro, Milwaukee School of Languages, Peshtigo, Reedsburg, Stanley‑Boyd, Tomahawk and Waupun.
A safety‑first partnership
Offensive lineman Darian Kinnard traveled to Weyauwega‑Fremont High School to host a youth skills clinic, underscoring the personal connection the players have with the communities they serve.
Ryan Fencl, the Packers’ football outreach manager, said the donation reflects a broader commitment to player safety, noting that proper equipment is essential for young athletes to compete without unnecessary risk.
The effort was made possible through collaborations with Ticketmaster and Certor Sports, companies that helped coordinate the application process and logistics for the helmet giveaway.
Launched last fall, the Helmet Give Back Program invited coaches and athletic directors statewide to apply for the new gear, illustrating the Packers’ ongoing investment in grassroots football development.
