Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has agreed to a multi‑year contract extension with Hyak Motorsports, securing his place behind the wheel of the iconic No. 47 Chevrolet for the upcoming seasons.
The agreement follows a career that began with 11 seasons at RFK Racing, where Stenhouse logged more than 480 Cup starts, claimed four victories and became known as a superspeedway specialist. He capped his résumé by winning the 2023 Daytona 500, added a Talladega triumph in 2024, and had previously celebrated wins at Daytona and Talladega in 2017. His résumé also includes 26 top‑5 finishes, 63 top‑10s and two championships in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.

Team owner Gordon Smith was quick to praise the driver’s commitment, highlighting his vision and passion for motorsports as the cornerstone of Hyak Motorsports’ future. ‘Ricky’s blend of skill and dedication aligns perfectly with our ambition to push the No. 47 Chevrolet back to the front of the pack,’ Smith said.
