A Recruit’s Vision
Seth Tillman, a 4‑star defensive line prospect in the 2027 class, arrived on the Athens campus for his sixth official visit to the University of Georgia, a trip that has become a ritual for the South Pointe High School standout.
The visit reinforced his admiration for the Bulldogs’ vision for his development, a culture built around winning and player care, and the striking all‑black uniform that has become a symbol of the program’s identity.
Family Roots and Future Goals
During the tour he spent time with coaches, including defensive line mentor Tray Scott, who drew a comparison between Tillman and former Bulldog Gabe Harris, and he left the experience feeling a strong connection to the team’s philosophy.
Tillman’s mother, Sherina Tillman, accompanied him and shared in the excitement, while his father, Reginald Tillman, a former Navy basketball player, has long been a source of athletic inspiration for the young prospect.
The recruit, who describes his ideal college environment as one that pushes him to the extremes of his potential, said the passionate and loyal staff at Georgia aligns with his goal of maturing quickly and maximizing his drive.
