NDSU Unveils 2026 Football Promotional Schedule
North Dakota State University (NDSU) has revealed its lineup of themed games and special events for the upcoming 2026 FBS football season, promising fans a blend of tradition and celebration across six home contests.
The campaign opens on August 29 when the Bison host Jacksonville State in the annual Trees Bowl, setting the tone for a schedule that blends rivalry, community appreciation, and school spirit.
The regular season will culminate on November 21 with a showdown against Northern Illinois, a game that doubles as Senior Day and the Harvest Bowl, giving graduating players a final home-stage moment.
Special Game Themes
A Military and First Responder Appreciation game is slated for September 5 against Fordham, honoring those who serve on the front lines. Later in October, the homecoming clash with Wyoming on October 3 will feature Code Green, a nod to sustainability and campus initiatives.
October 17 brings a Gold Rush promotion when the Bison face Nevada, encouraging fans to dress in gold attire for a vibrant stadium atmosphere. The following week, October 31, the matchup against UTEP adopts a Halloween theme, inviting spooky costumes and themed activities.
Ticket availability begins June 15, when fans can purchase new NDSU football season tickets. A Team Makers pre‑sale for single‑game tickets kicks off on July 20, followed by general public access on August 1, ensuring early birds get priority for the most coveted seats.
