Friends, family and strangers organized a meal train that has raised more than $121,000 to help the Taylor family. The initiative was sparked after the incident was highlighted at a Trenton Thunder game, where the community gathered to honor the boy.
Coaches and local leaders, including Tony Leone, Bobby Ronan and Mark Washel, praised Xavier’s character and offered prayers for his recovery, emphasizing the deep impact he has had on those around him.
The outpouring of generosity reflects a broader response that extends beyond the baseball field, uniting neighbors and fans in a shared commitment to the young athlete’s healing.
