A Legacy of Success
During his 14‑year tenure he guided the Titans to 13 straight 20‑win seasons and helped the team reach back‑to‑back Final Four appearances in his final two years.
Fischer earned six WIAC Coach of the Year honors, underscoring his consistent impact on the program’s competitiveness.
In a heartfelt statement, Fischer expressed deep gratitude for the university, the players, and the community that shaped his career, noting that the experience had a lasting effect on his life.
University officials, including senior administrator Darryl Sims, praised Fischer’s transformative leadership and said the school will launch a national search for his successor.
