A New Neighborhood Hub
When the doors opened on Seward Park’s former Flying Squirrel space, Aslan Brewing brought more than a fresh tap list; it introduced a gathering place designed for neighbors, families and fans alike.
Crafted for the Community
The venue features a sun‑lit patio, a dedicated party room and multiple screens tuned to major sports broadcasts, allowing patrons to catch everything from World Cup matches to local ultimate frisbee tournaments. Inside, the brewing team serves a rotating selection of organic ales alongside a full pizza menu that mirrors the beloved offerings at the company’s Bellingham Depot outpost.
Community at the Core
From its first day, the brewery has positioned community involvement as a cornerstone of its identity. Staff members including Nevan Mitter‑Burke, Jack Lamb and Sam Gordon have partnered with Northwest Youth Services and local youth sports programs, sponsoring teams such as Cascade and Tempest. The company also backs LGBTQ+ causes, offering its Be Proud IPA and hosting events like Queer Beer Comedy Night, reinforcing a culture that celebrates diversity.
Sustainability and Certification
Beyond its menu, Aslan Brewing operates as a certified B Corporation and a member of the Brewshed Alliance, underscoring its commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible sourcing.
The Seward Park site employs roughly 25 full‑ and part‑time team members, each trained to foster relationships with nearby businesses and to keep the space welcoming for regulars and newcomers alike.
