Aiden Flora, a running back who first caught attention with a punt‑return touchdown against TCU, is now being counted on to carry a larger share of the offensive load for the Iowa State Cyclones. His ability to break tackles and gain yards after contact made him a natural fit for special teams, but the coaching staff sees untapped potential on the offensive side of the ball.
During his redshirt freshman year Flora logged 21.4 yards per kick return and 26.4 yards per punt return, numbers that ranked him among the nation’s most efficient return specialists. He also rushed for 58 yards on four carries, establishing himself as the leading returning rusher on the roster.

Flora will join a backfield that includes transfers Cameron Pettaway and Arnold Barnes III, both of whom bring experience from Power Five programs.
