A new chapter in motorsport marketing
Fanatics Casino is set to sponsor J.J. Yeley’s No. 44 Chevrolet for the upcoming FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, continuing a partnership that began last year and marking the first time the company’s online casino brand appears in a NASCAR race.
The agreement brings a striking black‑and‑white paint scheme to the track and adds a slot‑machine experience in NASCAR Victory Lane, while also extending to Yeley’s car at Chicagoland Speedway in July, giving the brand exposure across two of the sport’s most visible venues.
Michael Afflick, vice president of casino brand marketing at Fanatics, said the collaboration is about meeting fans where they are, turning the excitement of a race weekend into a direct engagement opportunity that blends gaming with the traditional thrills of stock car racing.
John Cohen, owner of the New York Racing Team, highlighted the partnership as a chance to connect with a passionate audience, noting that the synergy between racing fans and casino enthusiasts creates a natural bridge for both industries.
The sponsorship arrives as the online casino sector reports record‑setting revenues for March and April, with Fanatics emerging as a leading generator of digital gaming income, having delivered more than $20 million in revenue during April alone.
