Season Opener
The Bulldogs will open the 2026‑27 season on November 2 at Stegeman Coliseum, hosting the North Carolina Central Eagles. The game marks the third all‑time meeting between the two programs and serves as Georgia’s first test before conference play begins.
North Carolina Central, a member of the Mid‑Eastern Athletic Conference, finished the 2025‑26 campaign with a 14‑18 record and an 8‑6 mark in league play. The Eagles have become a regular non‑conference opponent for Georgia, adding another chapter to a series that began years ago.
A Packed Non‑Conference Road
Beyond the opener, Georgia’s schedule includes a series of high‑profile road trips and neutral‑site events. The Bulldogs will travel to face Boston College in the 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge on December 1, then head to New York City to compete in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden against Duke.
Later in December, Georgia will join Boston College, Cincinnati and UCF in the ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando, Florida, where the team will play additional non‑conference matchups.
Coaching Milestone
The 2026‑27 season will be the fifth under head coach Mike White, who guided the Bulldogs to a 22‑10 record and a second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025‑26. White’s tenure has brought steady improvement and national relevance to the program.
Additional road tests include a trip to North Carolina on November 13, a visit to Georgia Tech on a date to be announced, and home games against Florida Gulf Coast on November 9, West Georgia on December 16 and North Florida on December 29, rounding out a demanding non‑conference slate.
