Boston College’s men’s ice hockey program is set to resume its storied rivalry with the New Hampshire Wildcats in a home‑and‑home series slated for January 22‑23, 2027.
A renewed rivalry on the horizon
The Eagles entered the 2025‑26 campaign as a fourth‑place finisher in Hockey East with a 20‑15‑1 record, while the Wildcats slipped to tenth with a 14‑20‑1 slate.
Both clubs will navigate a full 2026‑27 schedule, with New Hampshire already listing non‑conference matchups against Quinnipiac, Colgate, Michigan State, RPI, Union, Brown, Dartmouth, and RIT, and a conference slate that includes UConn, UMass, Merrimack, Providence, Boston College, Boston University, UMass Lowell, Maine, Northeastern, and Vermont.
Boston College’s complete timetable will be released later this year, but fans can already anticipate the excitement of two games that could shape early conference standings.
The first contest will unfold at Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, before the teams travel to the Whittemore Center at the Key Auto Group Complex in Durham, New Hampshire.
Key figures such as Andre Gasseau, Jake Sondreal, James Hagens, Dean Letourneau and Will Vote are expected to play pivotal roles for the Eagles as they look to extend their recent dominance.
