Troy University’s baseball program celebrated a milestone as it secured its first-ever berth in the College World Series, completing a dominant sweep of Little Rock in the home super regional.
In the opening game, the Trojans erupted for a 12‑2 victory, highlighted by four home runs, including a grand slam from Jabe Boroff, while Aaron Piasecki and Josh Pyne launched back‑to‑back homers in the second inning.
The following day, Troy added a 7‑2 win on Saturday, June 6, cementing the series sweep and sending the team to Omaha.
Broadcast and Schedule Outlook
All College World Series contests will be televised on ESPN, with the championship’s second game also airing on ABC, and every matchup available for streaming through ESPN+. However, the exact date, start time and network designation for Troy’s first game remain unassigned, pending the conclusion of the remaining super regionals.
The Trojans are slated to meet West Virginia, another super‑regional sweep victor who eliminated Cal Poly, in what promises to be a compelling opening round matchup.
