Class 4A powerhouse Penn secured its 13th regional title, outscoring Valparaiso 8‑4 in a game that showcased both pitching depth and timely hitting.

The victory sets up a semi‑state semifinal for Penn against Fort Wayne Snider, scheduled for next Saturday at the U.S. Steel Yard in Gary.
Class 3A NorthWood captured its second straight regional crown, defeating Highland 8‑1, and will now meet Norwell in a semifinal to be played in LaPorte.
In Class 2A, Lakeland edged Hebron 7‑6 on a walk‑off two‑run double in the bottom of the seventh, earning a berth in the semi‑state where they are slated to face Eastbrook at Oak Hill.
Other regional results included an 11‑1 loss for Goshen to Lake Central, a 9‑6 defeat for New Prairie against defending champion Andrean, a 9‑0 shutout of Bremen by Bluffton, a 7‑6 setback for Caston versus Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, and a 12‑0 five‑inning loss for South Central to Kouts.
