Eastern Arizona College’s men’s basketball program is set to host the 2026 Gila Monster Hoopsters Basketball Camp, a three‑day summer experience for young athletes.
The camp will take place from June 22 through June 24 in Guitteau Gymnasium, providing a dedicated space for drills, skill work and game‑based activities.
Tailored Sessions for Different Age Groups
Children entering grades 2 through 4 will gather each morning from 9 a.m. to noon, while those entering grades 5 through 8 will move to the afternoon slot from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Instruction will center on core basketball fundamentals, including dribbling, shooting, passing, defensive positioning and teamwork, all delivered through a series of progressive drills and small‑scale game situations.
Campers can expect a fun, positive environment where they not only sharpen their skills but also build confidence and a love for the game.
The fee for each participant is $85, and families are able to register multiple children in a single transaction through the college’s online registration portal.
