While the technology promises to democratize discovery, experts caution that raw data alone cannot replace the lived experience of training in quality facilities, receiving top‑tier coaching and shouldering the cost of competition.
JT Batson, chief executive of the federation, confirmed that the pilot is already feeding insights into the national program and that the organization hopes to expand the model so that more children can be identified and supported on their soccer journeys.
