NFL linebacker Ronnie Harrison returned to his roots this summer, staging his sixth annual football camp at the high school he once called home in Florida. The event welcomed more than 100 children between the ages of six and eighteen, all eager to sharpen their skills on the gridiron.
A community tradition
Harrison, now entering his ninth season in the league, expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to give back to the community that shaped him. He noted how many of the campers have returned year after year, watching them evolve from eager participants to confident players.
Dreams on the field
Beyond drills and tackles, Harrison hopes the camp plants seeds of ambition that can blossom into lifelong goals. He wants each child to leave with a clearer vision of their future, whether on the field or in another pursuit, and to remember the value of paying it forward.
