Cincinnati Bearcats Football has secured a commitment from three-star wide receiver Ronnie Gomiller for the Class of 2027, marking the first receiver to join that upcoming cohort.
A promising addition to the 2027 class
Gomiller, ranked 437th nationally and 55th among wide receivers by 247Sports, brings the total number of verbal pledges to seven as the program continues to build momentum in its recruiting efforts.
Head coach Scott Satterfield has repeatedly stressed the need to fortify both the offensive and defensive lines, noting that the team already has four players in the trenches and plans to add more big-bodied prospects, including defensive linemen, to compete in the demanding Big 12.
The Bearcats are currently in the midst of summer workouts for the 2026 squad, preparing for the rigors of fall camp while simultaneously mapping out a schedule that features one of the toughest slates in the conference this fall.
Satterfield’s mantra of recruiting strong linemen resonates with the broader strategy of assembling a balanced roster capable of challenging the league’s elite, a vision that aligns with the program’s recent emphasis on depth and physicality.
