Former University of Tennessee standout Dalton Knecht is set to bring his basketball expertise to the next generation in Knoxville.
The camp, scheduled for June 13, will be held at Pratt Pavilion on the University of Tennessee campus, offering a hands‑on experience for children in fourth through eighth grade.
Knecht, who earned SEC Player of the Year honors during his lone season with the Volunteers, will lead drills, share personal insights and mentor participants.
After a standout college career, the 6‑foot‑7 forward was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft and is now entering his second season with the franchise.
In his sophomore NBA stint he has averaged 4.2 points and 1.4 rebounds, but the camp provides an opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape his development.

The one‑day camp will run from morning until afternoon, featuring skill stations, scrimmages and a Q&A session with the player.

The initiative reflects Knecht’s commitment to youth development and his desire to inspire future athletes in East Tennessee.
Looking Forward
