The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) has released its 2026 All-Conference baseball selections, celebrating a season marked by exceptional play across the league and a particularly strong showing by Tufts University.

Cole Donato of the Jumbos was named Pitcher of the Year after finishing the year with nine wins and a 2.15 earned‑run average, while Malcolm Whitfield earned Defensive Player of the Year with a flawless .996 fielding percentage. Coach Bryan Stark was recognized as Coach of the Year after guiding Tufts to an 8‑4 record within the conference.

Additional honorees include James Henshon, who earned a second consecutive all-conference nod while batting .336, and Jack Kamin, who sits second in the league with a .437 average and 62 hits. Emmet Christian received his first career all-conference selection after posting seven wins and a 2.93 ERA, and Derek Desmarais led the conference with eight saves and a .89 WHIP. Owen McKiernan contributed a .359 batting average and 42 hits for the Jumbos.

The collective achievements helped Tufts capture the NESCAC championship and secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament, underscoring the team’s depth and competitive spirit.
