Nebraska's coaching staff saw a surge of activity over the weekend as three Class of 2027 prospects announced their commitments to the Cornhuskers.
The commitments came during a visit weekend that produced five total pledges, underscoring the program's momentum in the recruiting cycle.
Among the new commits, tight end Joey Hunter and linebacker Joey Harris both hail from Georgia, while edge rusher Ma’atoe Moe flipped his verbal pledge from Minnesota to Nebraska.
The weekend also featured a notable decommitment, as wide receiver Kaden Howard, who had previously pledged to Nebraska, reopened his recruitment and signed with Georgia Tech, a move that links him to fellow Floridian Jacory Barney, Jr. at the same high school.
Despite the loss of Howard, the Cornhuskers remain poised to build a strong 2027 roster, with the new commits adding depth at multiple positions.
