Eastern Kentucky University has released the full slate of home football games for the 2026 season, outlining not only kickoff times but also a lineup of themed promotions designed to deepen community engagement.
The Colonels will host six contests at the iconic CG Bank Field at Roy Kidd Stadium, opening on September 12 and concluding on November 14, giving fans a clear calendar to plan their attendance.
The opening night will reward the first 1,000 spectators with a limited‑edition commemorative t‑shirt courtesy of Coca‑Cola, while a week later children twelve and under can claim a free ticket and take part in the traditional halftime field run.
Honoring the Past and Building the Future
Mid‑season brings a nostalgic tribute as former players from the 1979, 1980, 1981 and 1982 squads return on October 3, followed by the induction of the 2026 EKU Athletics Hall of Fame class on October 10, both moments woven into the game‑day experience.
Homecoming festivities arrive on October 25, featuring the crowning of a 2026 Homecoming King and Queen, and later in the schedule the senior class will be honored moments before kickoff on November 14, a day that also includes pregame ceremonies recognizing veterans, active‑duty military members, first responders and healthcare workers.
Beyond the pageantry, EKU has launched its Drive for 5K campaign, seeking 5,000 season‑ticket holders, with tickets available online starting at $69, inviting supporters to join a growing community of Colonels fans.
