A New Chapter for the Waves
Pepperdine University announced this week that graduate forward Ethan Meuser has signed on to join the Waves for the 2026‑27 season, adding a 6‑8 presence to the frontcourt.
Meuser arrives after four seasons at Stonehill College, where he helped the Skyhawks capture a historic 15‑win campaign in Division I and led the team in blocked shots.
From Pennsylvania to Malibu
The Pennsylvania native, born in Shavertown, honed his game at Wyoming Seminary School before excelling on the AAU circuit with NEPA Elite, a pathway that also saw him graduate from The Hill School.
What Meuser Brings
During his senior year he posted a career‑high 20 points in an NEC Tournament win over Le Moyne and finished the season averaging 6.1 points and 5.2 rebounds while shooting efficiently.
His defensive contributions were evident in a junior season that saw him record 27 blocked shots, and his consistency earned him regular double‑digit minutes per game.
Coach Griff Aldrich praised the addition, noting Meuser’s defensive instincts and ability to stretch the floor, qualities that should complement the existing roster as the program looks to build on recent momentum.
The Waves hope the new recruit will help the team contend in the West Coast Conference, leveraging his experience and physicality to anchor both defense and rebounding.
