NYCFC Partners with FlixBus to Boost Fan Travel for Upcoming World Cup Event

The collaboration will offer affordable transportation and a vibrant fan zone experience in Queens.

A New Era of Fan Connectivity

New York City FC announced a strategic partnership with FlixBus, the leading intercity bus operator, to streamline fan travel for the upcoming World Cup 26 tournament. The alliance aims to make attending matches and related events more accessible for supporters across North America.

Through the agreement, FlixBus will open its extensive network, which spans more than 1,800 destinations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, to supporters seeking economical and reliable rides to match venues and fan zones.

The collaboration also includes the creation of a dynamic fan zone at the NYNJ World Cup 26 Fan Zone Queens, where travelers can engage with interactive installations, personalize branded merchandise and receive giveaways. This high‑energy space is designed to celebrate soccer culture and foster community among attendees.

Ara Sarajian, New York City FC Vice President of Partnership Development, said the initiative reflects the club’s commitment to making soccer experiences accessible to all supporters, while Kai Boysan, CEO of Flix North America, highlighted the role of travel in uniting fans around the sport.

Both organizations emphasized that affordable mobility not only eases logistics but also enriches the cultural fabric of the tournament, allowing communities from across North America to converge and celebrate the game.
