Babcock’s résumé includes a Stanley Cup triumph with the Detroit Red Wings in 2008, four straight 50‑plus win seasons, and two Olympic gold medals with Team Canada in 2010 and 2014, underscoring a career marked by sustained excellence.
His coaching journey also spans stints with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and a brief, uneventful tenure with the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he stepped down in 2023 after reports of privacy breaches.
