NASCAR’s Great American Getaway 400 Triggers One‑Way Traffic Flow on Route 115

Pennsylvania State Police detail lane restrictions and detours ahead of the June 14 race at Pocono Raceway

The Pennsylvania State Police have outlined a detailed traffic plan for the upcoming NASCAR Great American Getaway 400, scheduled for June 14 at Pocono Raceway.

Starting at 11 a.m., a segment of Route 115 between Interstate 80 and the raceway will be converted to a one‑way corridor, directing southbound traffic toward the speedway.

After the race, when the event is down to its final 25 laps, the same stretch will flip to northbound traffic, guiding cars back toward the I‑80 exit.

Detour Details

Motorists should note that Exit 284 on I‑80 eastbound will be closed once the race concludes, and Stoney Hollow Road will be designated a no‑parking zone, with violators subject to towing.

State police also warn that Routes 209, 940 and 903, along with the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, may experience heightened congestion, and they recommend using Interstate 80, Route 33 or the Turnpike as alternate corridors.
