The Chicago Bears are set to embark on their fifth consecutive summer tour of the United Kingdom, bringing a blend of on‑field clinics, competitive championships and fan‑focused activations to three English cities.
A Milestone in International Outreach
Kicking off on June 15 in Manchester, the itinerary will then move to Loughborough on June 19 for the Girls Flag Championships, before concluding in Liverpool on June 22‑23 with additional clinics and a celebration at the Royal Albert Dock on June 21.
Hall of Fame receiver Devin Hester and current safety Elijah Hicks will lead the opening clinic in Manchester, while Bears legend Charles ‘Peanut’ Tillman and cornerback Josh Blackwell will join forces in Liverpool for special appearances and community sessions.
The tour also underscores a commitment to gender inclusion, with the Bears’ Girls Flag program — now in its fourth year and featuring 43 teams nationwide — serving as a centerpiece of the Loughborough event, where top squads from Manchester, London and the Midlands will compete.
Bears vice president of fan development and brand marketing Sarah Smith highlighted the UK’s strategic importance, stating that the country offers a ‘vibrant, passionate fan base’ that can accelerate the growth of American football worldwide.
Fans attending the Royal Albert Dock activation will enjoy photo opportunities, giveaways and the chance to meet Bears personalities, while the organization encourages followers to stay tuned to its international channels for exclusive content throughout the tour.
