The American Baseball Coaches Association, in partnership with Rawlings, has announced the Northeast All-Region teams, and Boston College’s baseball program is well represented.
Julio Solier earned a spot on the first team, topping the Eagles’ batting statistics with a .350 average, 78 hits, 45 runs scored and 22 stolen bases, a combination that helped shape the lineup.
Nick Wang’s power surge added 16 home runs and 62 runs batted in, placing him among the program’s all-time leaders and highlighting the depth of the hitting corps.
Ty Mainolfi, who appeared in every one of the 60 games, posted a .323 average, 75 hits, 19 steals and 51 RBI, underscoring his consistency and versatility.
On the mound, Gavin Soares made 15 starts, posting a 2.96 earned-run average and striking out 35 batters, providing a reliable arm for the staff.
A milestone season
The Eagles capped the season with a program-best 37 victories, a feat that propelled them into the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2023, a milestone that has energized the campus and the broader baseball community.
