Will Rodecap Elected President of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association

Tarleton State’s Director of Football Equipment will lead AEMA after the 2026 convention, bringing extensive bowl and playoff experience.

A New Era for AEMA

Will Rodecap, the Director of Football Equipment at Tarleton State, has been elected to serve as the Board President of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association, a role he will assume after the 2026 AEMA Convention.

His election follows a breakout 2025 campaign for the Texan program, where the team posted a 12‑2 record and secured a top seed in the FCS playoffs, one of the most successful seasons in school history.

Rodecap’s professional journey spans nearly two decades, during which he has contributed to powerhouse programs such as Kansas State, Kansas, Colorado State and Tulsa, and has been involved in 19 high‑profile bowl games, including the Cotton, Fiesta and Sugar Bowls.

AEMA, an organization dedicated to promoting, advancing and improving the equipment‑management profession at every level of sport, will now be overseen by Rodecap, who plans to build on the association’s mission through policy development and professional development initiatives.

The upcoming convention will mark the transition of leadership, after which Rodecap will begin shaping policies that support equipment managers across the country and ensure the continued growth of the field.
