Fans across North Central Florida are being asked to pick the single best high school baseball play of the year, a decision that will shape the region’s seasonal narrative.
The competition is split into two brackets, each containing two standout performances. The winners from each bracket will advance to a four‑player semifinal round.
Organizers have promised to announce the four semifinalists on Friday, June 12, giving the community a clear timeline for the next phase of voting.
Gators on TV20
In addition to the local play‑off, TV20 Sports will broadcast the Florida Gators at 6:00 p.m. and again at 11:00 p.m., adding a professional spotlight to the weekend’s action.
Among the nominees are students Olivia Eisenhauer, Jake Rongholt and Julianna Reichenbach, whose performances have drawn praise from coaches and peers alike.
Voting is simple: participants can submit their choice through the online poll linked on the newspaper’s website, with results tallied in real time.
