Norwalk and Indianola Players Earn 3A All‑State Honors

Seven male soccer athletes from Iowa high schools are celebrated for standout performances, collegiate commitments, and season outcomes.

The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association has released its 3A All‑State honorees, recognizing seven male players from the Norwalk and Indianola programs for their performances this season.

First Team Recognition

Norwalk’s Tyden Eng and Teegan Kralik earned spots on the First Team. Eng finished the year with ten goals and will continue his career at William Jewell College, while Kralik led the Warriors with fourteen assists and was also named to the 3A All‑Tournament Team.

Their contributions helped the Warriors secure a strong campaign, culminating in a appearance at the state championship match.

Second Team Highlights

Indianola’s goalkeeper Van Kauffman and Norwalk’s midfielder Jace Downing were selected to the Second Team. Kauffman posted a 128‑save season with an 84 % save percentage, while Downing started all twenty‑two games and contributed a goal.

Third Team Selections

The Third Team includes Norwalk’s Jacoby Robbins and Eli Scavo, alongside Indianola’s Max Martinez. Scavo paced the Warriors with twenty‑one goals and added ten assists, while Martinez scored eleven goals and recorded a team‑high ten assists.

Despite the individual accolades, the season ended with mixed results. Norwalk fell in the 3A State Championship to Des Moines Hoover, and Indianola’s campaign concluded in the Quarterfinals against Xavier.

The recognition underscores the growing talent in Iowa’s high school soccer ranks and sets a promising outlook for next season.
