A Community Mourns
Nick Dagostino, a 23‑year‑old from Waltham, Massachusetts, died suddenly on May 29, 2026, leaving a community stunned by the loss of a young man whose warmth was as familiar as a Sunday football game.
Born on August 6, 2002, in Cambridge, he grew up with a love of the gridiron, cheering for the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants, and he never missed a chance to talk about his favorite teams.
He shared many summers in New Hampshire, where family trips to Newfound Lake and Bristol became cherished memories, and he treasured a special outing to the Pro Football Hall of Fame with his mother, Lisa G. Dagostino.
Friends recall his habit of calling people with playful nicknames like “pigeon” or “pilgrim,” and the way he would send unexpected texts filled with hearts and short videos to let loved ones know he was thinking of them.
Those who knew him also remember his quiet devotion to his faith, a spiritual life he kept personal yet profound, and the gentle presence of his loyal dog, Highway, who was never far from his side.
His close circle included family members such as his father, Robert “Bobby” Dagostino, his mother, Lisa G. Dagostino, his sister Talia and her boyfriend Juan Pantoja, his brother Bobby, his girlfriend Diana Arpino, and a wide network of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who called him brother.
He is survived by his paternal grandparents Jerry Dagostino, Annemarie Musselwhite, and Wendy Musselwhite, his maternal grandmother Mary DiPhillipo, and numerous extended relatives including Stephen Dagostino, Tracy Rogers, Michael DiPhillipo, Shirley Lord, Adam Lord, Tracie “Auntie Auntie” Murphy, Scott Murphy, and many more.
Close friends like Kenny and Kevin Rich of Nashua, Devin Bracetty, Eddie Bracetty, Antonio Rivera, Jayden Espinal, Travis Holbrook, and Landon Moore considered him a brother, and he valued his mentorship under Ted Atlas of “Clean Out Your House,” who described him as more than an employee but a trusted confidant.
Funeral services will be private, and his obituary will be published on Legacy.com, where the Brasco Family Funeral Services will handle the arrangements.
