Former Penn State Football Player and Fiancée Killed in Colorado Hit‑and‑Run

Adam Bauserman Charged with Vehicular Homicide After Driving on Revoked License

A June 1 collision in a quiet Colorado neighborhood left a young couple dead and a former Penn State athlete fighting for his life.

Corrine More, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Kyle Vasey suffered severe spinal fractures that required multiple surgeries and left him at risk of permanent disfigurement or death.

Police say the driver, Adam Bauserman, was located more than five miles from the crash site and was operating his vehicle with a revoked license after a prior DUI conviction. He has now been charged with vehicular homicide and several other felonies.

Vasey, a 2018 graduate of Wallenpaupack High School, had been a long snapper for Penn State from 2014 to 2018, earning the John Bruno Memorial Award as the team’s top special‑teams player.

Since the accident, Vasey has undergone six surgeries and remains vulnerable to life‑threatening complications. His parents have launched a GoFundMe campaign to offset mounting medical expenses.

The case has drawn attention from the university community and local officials, who are urging anyone with information to come forward as the legal process moves forward.

Community Response and Legal Proceedings

Authorities have emphasized the dangers of driving with a suspended license and the devastating impact such reckless behavior can have on families. As the investigation continues, the families involved hope the charges will bring some measure of justice.
