Regional Relocation
The NCAA Division III baseball regional that was slated for Friday at the University of Southern Maine has been moved to Bowdoin College as a result of adverse weather conditions.
Organizers pushed the start times to later in the day, reshaping the day's schedule and extending the competition into the weekend.
The first contest will pit the top‑seeded Rowan University against the fourth‑seeded RIT at 1 p.m. on Rickard Field, while the second game will see second‑seeded Southern Maine take on third‑seeded Babson at 4 p.m.
Saturday’s slate begins with the losers of those opening games meeting at 11:30 a.m. at Ed Flaherty Field in Gorham, followed by the winners’ showdown at 2:30 p.m.
A second losers‑bracket game is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday, and the championship round is scheduled to open at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
