Columbia’s baseball program celebrated a rare sweep of recognition this week, as eight members of the Lions roster were named to the All‑Ivy League honors list.

Among the honorees, senior Jack Kail earned a unanimous first‑team selection for the second straight season, a testament to his consistent excellence.
Kail finished the regular season with a .348 batting average, 14 doubles, 37 RBI and a .477 slugging percentage in 36 games, ranking fourth in the league for average and second for hits and doubles.

His .348 average placed him among the conference’s most potent hitters, while his 54 hits and 14 doubles helped him secure second‑place finishes in those categories.
Cole Fellows, Thomas Santana and Hunter Snyder were each named to the second team, rounding out a group of standout performers for the Lions.
Other Standouts
Fellows batted .312 with 14 doubles, eight home runs and 33 RBI, posting a .571 slugging percentage that highlighted his power surge.
Santana went 5‑4 on the mound with 48 strikeouts in 56 innings across 11 starts, compiling a 4.98 ERA that reflected steady improvement.
Snyder contributed a .298 average, 27 runs scored and a .392 on‑base percentage in 31 appearances, providing depth at the top of the lineup.
Honorable mentions went to Owen Estabrook, Anthony Temesvary, Jimmy Chadwell and Ben Fishel, each of whom delivered key contributions on defense and at the plate.
Looking Ahead to the Tournament
The Lions are slated to open the Ivy League Tournament on Friday, May 15, against top‑seeded Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, a matchup that promises a fierce test of their recent form.
