The University of South Carolina Athletics Department will host a celebration on June 12 at Founders Park to introduce Kevin Schnall as the new head baseball coach.
Gates will open at 7:30 p.m. at Gate 1 on Williams Street near Blossom Street, with the ceremony kicking off at 8:30 p.m.; complimentary parking is available in Lot 1, and the event will be conducted under the department’s Clear Bag Policy.
Attendees can look forward to a complimentary “Schnall Ball” T‑shirt while supplies last, and the First Base Concessions stand will provide free hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, fountain drinks and bottled water, with beer also available for purchase.
A Night of Tradition
Coach Schnall and Athletics Director Jeremiah Donati will deliver remarks before a fireworks display, rally towels and the iconic Sandstorm soundtrack cap the evening, blending new leadership with long‑standing Gamecock rituals.
