BAT24 Launches 24‑Hour Baseball and Softball Training Hub in Elm Grove

Former collegiate star Tyler Cooley teams with C‑Side Sports Academy founder Chris Sidick to open the newest facility in the eastern U.S.

A new 24‑hour baseball and softball training facility has opened its doors in the Elm Terrace Shopping Center of Elm Grove, West Virginia, promising athletes round‑the‑clock access to top‑tier practice resources.

BAT24, the eighth location in the eastern United States, was launched by Tyler Cooley, a former pitcher at Wheeling Park High School and West Liberty University, who partnered with Chris Sidick, a former professional player and founder of C‑Side Sports Academy.

The 5,200‑square‑foot venue houses a full suite of training equipment, including multiple batting cages, pitching mounds and a variety of machines designed for both baseball and softball drills.

A supportive environment for every skill level

Cooley emphasized that the facility aims to create a welcoming atmosphere where players of all ages and abilities can develop their game, with private instruction available on request and seasonal camps slated to begin soon.

While the Elm Grove site is the smallest of the chain, measuring 5,200 square feet, other locations such as the Robinson Township and Finleyville facilities boast larger footprints of roughly 10,000 and 9,920 square feet respectively.

A growing network across the East Coast

The new site joins existing BAT24 locations in Agawam, Massachusetts; Cleveland, Ohio; Finleyville, Pennsylvania; Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania; Robinson Township, Pennsylvania; and Morgantown, West Virginia, forming a network that stretches from New England to the Appalachian region.

Each venue operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, allowing athletes to train on their own schedules, a model that has resonated with both amateur leagues and collegiate programs seeking flexible practice options.
