Jovie Peterson, a junior forward for the North County girls soccer club, has been named to the Class 2 all‑region team after a standout season in which she netted 14 goals and added two assists.
The Lady Raiders, despite finishing the campaign with a 7‑15 record, showed steady improvement and capped the year with a hard‑fought victory over Farmington that went to penalty kicks after a 100‑minute deadlock on April 24.
Farmington entered the match with a 4‑12 overall record, but the team’s resilience shone through as they edged out North County in the shoot‑out, a result that highlighted the competitive balance within the SEMO region.
The All‑SEMO Conference also recognized two Farmington standouts, Madison Klinkhardt and Macy Davis, placing them alongside Peterson in the regional selections.
Regional Honors
Peterson’s inclusion underscores the growing talent pool on the North County roster, while Klinkhardt and Davis reflect Farmington’s ability to compete despite a modest win total.
Both teams will look to build on these experiences as the offseason approaches, with coaching staffs already planning strategies to translate individual accolades into collective success next spring.
