Freshman Surge
East Hickman High School announced its 2027 baseball roster this week, capping a two‑day tryout session that drew dozens of aspiring players. The announcement marks the culmination of a competitive selection process that began on June 3 and 4.
The senior contingent leads the squad, featuring Landon Erickson, Dylan Reddin and Chandler Crowell. Their experience from previous seasons provides a solid foundation for the team's ambitions.
Joining them are several juniors — Joseph Covington, Duane Lampley, Derek Trotter, Gavin Woodard, Logan Sullivan and Preston Konig — who have already demonstrated versatility and resilience on the field.
Sophomores Jake Fisher, Levi Sullivan, Ayden Logan, Jaxon Roberts and Mason Crafton round out the middle of the lineup, adding depth and youthful energy to the roster.
The most anticipated group, however, is the freshman class. Hunter Phillips, Eli Bennett, Brentley Victory, G Lampley, Tuck Oakley, Drayden Mathis, Alex Beard and Colby Hilligross earned spots after impressing coaches during the June tryouts, signaling a bright future for the program.
