Stark County’s Playoff Hopes
Two local programs are flying the flag for Stark County. North Canton Hoover, competing in Division II, is making its first appearance in the state final four since 1999, while Lake Center Christian, the Division VI runner‑up from a year ago, returns to the championship bracket.
Both teams earned their spots after navigating a rigorous regional schedule, and their presence underscores the growing strength of high school baseball in the county.
Venues and Broadcast Details
Semifinal contests will be staged at two familiar sites: 7 17 Credit Union Park in Akron and Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium in Canton. The championship finals, along with all other title games, will be held in Akron, consolidating the tournament’s climax in one city.
