A Season of Themed Celebrations
The season opens on September 6 with a neutral‑site matchup against Ole Miss in Nashville, Tennessee, before the Cardinals return to Louisville for their first home contest on September 11 against Villanova. That game will be paired with a Salute to Service tribute and a Ville’ns Appreciation celebration, setting a tone of community appreciation.
A week later, on September 19, the Cardinals host SMU, featuring Ag Day alongside Band Day and an Extra Yard for Teachers initiative, blending agricultural appreciation with marching band performances and educational outreach.
September 26 brings Wake Forest to L&N Stadium for Kids Day, Spirit Day and Family Weekend, promising a family‑friendly atmosphere with activities designed for younger fans.
The October 9 contest against Florida State will showcase a “Cards All In” theme, a UofL Health halftime performance and a “Cardinals on the Frontline” spotlight, underscoring health and civic engagement.
Homecoming will take place on October 31 when Stanford visits, marking the season’s final home game before the November 21 showdown with Pitt, which will conclude the regular season with Senior Day and Season Ticket Member Appreciation.
