2026 Theme Games Unveiled
The University of Louisville’s football program has revealed its slate of themed contests for the 2026 season, promising fans a mix of tradition, celebration and community outreach.
Two of the marquee matchups will take place on Friday, September 11, when the Cardinals host Villanova for both Ag Day and the annual Salute to Service tribute, blending agricultural appreciation with a nod to the armed forces.
A week later, on Saturday, September 26, the team will welcome Wake Forest for Kids Day, an event designed to bring families and young fans into the stadium for a day of activities and special promotions.
The season will culminate with Homecoming on Saturday, November 21, as Louisville faces Pitt in a game that traditionally draws alumni and supporters back to campus.
