The Big 12 Conference has unveiled the full slate of home and away matchups for the upcoming 2026‑27 men’s basketball season, setting up an 18‑game conference schedule that will test every team from October through March.
A packed schedule ahead
Arizona’s lineup features a blend of regional rivalries and high‑profile road trips, as the Wildcats will host and travel to face in‑state opponent Arizona State, as well as BYU and Houston, each contest appearing on both the home and away calendars.
In addition to those marquee meetings, the Wildcats are slated to meet each of the remaining twelve conference members exactly once, rotating between Tucson and neutral venues across the league.
This season marks the third year of Arizona’s tenure in the Big 12, a stretch that has already delivered a 16‑2 conference record, a regular‑season championship by two games and a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
The momentum continued with a dominant run through the Big 12 Tournament, where the Wildcats posted victories over UCF, Iowa State and Houston at the T‑Mobile Center in Kansas City, before advancing to the Final Four for the first time since 2001.
Coach Tommy Lloyd and his staff have emphasized continuity and depth, noting that the experience gained from the previous two campaigns provides a solid foundation for another push at conference supremacy.
Fans can expect a lively atmosphere in both the McKale Center and on the road, with ticket demand already outpacing availability for the most anticipated matchups.
