Conference Announces Expanded Schedule
The Big 12 Conference released its 2026‑27 men’s basketball match‑up matrix on Thursday, outlining a conference slate that will feature 18 games for each of the league’s twelve members.
The format includes three home‑and‑home series against designated opponents, while the remaining twelve matchups will be played on a single‑game basis, a structure designed to balance travel demands with competitive equity.
Colorado will host reciprocal series against Utah, Houston and Baylor, marking a return of those programs to the CU Events Center after a two‑year absence, and will also welcome single‑game visits from Arizona State, BYU, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Texas Tech and West Virginia.
On the road, the Buffaloes are slated for single contests at Arizona, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, TCU and UCF, opponents that each enjoyed postseason appearances in the 2025‑26 season.
