Iconic Soccer Jerseys Light Up Empire State Building Exhibit

Celebrating World Cup Legends with Rare Shirts and Golden Trophy

A Global Tribute on Midtown Manhattan

The Empire State Building is hosting a special exhibition that brings together more than one hundred iconic soccer jerseys, many of them worn during historic World Cup matches. The showcase, curated by the London‑based retailer Classic Football Shirts, runs across four levels of the Observation Deck Experience and will remain on view through July 19.

Among the highlights are match‑worn shirts from Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham, offering fans a direct connection to the sport’s biggest stages. In addition to the jerseys, the display features rare memorabilia and an oversized golden trophy that visitors can photograph on the 86th‑floor deck.

To mark the occasion, the building has released a limited‑edition jersey inspired by the observatory’s host uniforms, available for purchase only until June 23. From June 11 onward, the final fifty guests each day who have made reservations will receive a commemorative tournament cup as a souvenir.

The celebration extends beyond the exhibit itself; the Empire State Building will illuminate its tower lights in honor of the winners of matches played at MetLife Stadium, linking the city’s soccer festivities with its iconic skyline.
