Randy Pippin Takes the reins at Palestine Westwood
The Palestine Independent School District announced Monday that Randy Pippin, a coaching veteran with four decades of experience, will lead the Westwood Panthers football program starting this fall. The appointment comes as the district seeks to build on recent successes and restore the program’s storied tradition.
A Legacy of Success
Pippin’s career spans stints at UAB, Middle Tennessee State and Jacksonville State, where he amassed a reputation for developing tough, disciplined units. His most celebrated achievement came in 1992 when he guided Trinity Valley to the NJCAA National Football Championship in his second season at the helm.
District officials expressed confidence that Pippin’s leadership will revitalize the program and restore its competitive edge, bringing fresh strategies and a winning culture to the field.
