St. John School announced this week that Cameron Daigle has been named its new Head Baseball Coach, tapping a familiar face to steer the program forward. The appointment marks a strategic move to build on recent successes and to embed a culture of growth within the baseball roster.
A Proven Track Record
Daigle’s journey in baseball began at Brusly High School, where he excelled as a player before continuing his career at Nunez Community College. He later earned a degree from Louisiana State University Alexandria, a background that blends academic rigor with athletic ambition. Since 2023, he has served as an Assistant Coach at Brusly, guiding the Panthers to two State Runner‑Up finishes and two District Championships while mentoring 31 All‑District and 11 All‑State athletes.

Beyond wins and losses, Daigle is passionate about developing student‑athletes as whole individuals. He emphasizes character, discipline, and academic achievement, aiming to prepare young men to succeed both on the diamond and in the classroom.
