Former UC Santa Barbara guard and 2025 NBA Champion Ajay Mitchell is set to bring his championship experience back to the campus that launched his career.
From June 22 through June 25, Mitchell will serve as a guest speaker at the Gauchos men’s basketball camp, offering youngsters a chance to learn from the program that helped shape him.
The camp welcomes boys in grades one through eight, with half‑day sessions running from 9 a.m. to noon and full‑day sessions extending to 3 p.m.
Participants will work directly with UCSB coaches and current players, receiving hands‑on instruction designed to sharpen fundamentals and foster a love of the game.

Mitchell’s return underscores the lasting bond between the university and its alumni, highlighting how success at the next level can inspire the next generation of Gauchos.
