Brittany Morris is set to rejoin the North Carolina State women’s basketball program as an assistant coach, marking her second tenure with the Wolfpack after earlier service from 2021 through 2025 and a graduate assistantship from 2015 to 2017.
A Coach With a Proven Track Record
During her most recent season at Louisville, the Cardinals posted a 29‑8 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, underscoring her ability to elevate a program quickly and attract top talent.
Morris’s coaching résumé also includes leadership roles at East Carolina University, the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and Virginia Tech, where she refined recruiting strategies and player development frameworks.
Her playing days at Seton Hall University laid a strong foundation; she earned All‑Big East Second Team honors and later completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration before obtaining a master’s in communications from NC State.
Beyond the bench, Morris has helped shape the careers of notable players such as Saniya Rivers and Aziaha James, and she continues to mentor emerging stars including Zoe Brooks, Diamond Johnson and Shrita Parker, all of whom have thrived under her offensive schemes and defensive emphasis.
A Raleigh native who starred at Broughton High School, Morris returns to her hometown with deep community roots, ready to contribute to a program that has reached multiple Final Fours in recent years.
