Ivy League Announces All‑Ivy Selections
The Ivy League revealed its annual baseball honors this week, recognizing a handful of Princeton Tigers for their performances in conference play. The selections highlight both athletic achievement and academic excellence across the league.
Brady Kaufman, a standout junior, earned a place on the First Team All‑Ivy after posting a .250 average with 13 runs, 18 hits, five doubles and eight RBIs in league competition. His consistent production helped anchor the Tigers’ lineup.
Will Robbins and Bennett Crerar were both named to the Second Team, each contributing solid numbers to the squad. Robbins finished the season with a .212 average, adding 10 runs, 14 hits, three doubles, four home runs and 17 RBIs, while Crerar batted .279 and drove in nine runs with 19 hits, three doubles, a triple and nine RBIs.
Tommy Googins received an honorable mention and led the team in conference batting average, finishing at .328 with 12 runs, 21 hits, four doubles, two home runs, 11 RBIs and 31 total bases. His all‑around offensive output was a key factor in Princeton’s success.
Jake Koonin, an Economics major, was honored with Academic All‑Ivy recognition and added a second All‑Ivy accolade to his résumé, underscoring his dual commitment to athletics and scholarship.
