The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their 2026 regular‑season schedule, a 17‑game slate that blends familiar rivalries with a handful of marquee moments, including a historic game in Paris and several primetime contests.
The campaign opens at home against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 13, marking only the second time since 2014 that the team begins the year on its own turf. The Steelers enter that game with a 16‑2‑1 all‑time edge over the Falcons, including a perfect 7‑0‑1 record at Acrisure Stadium.
Primetime Highlights
Four contests will be broadcast in primetime, one of them under the lights at Acrisure Stadium and the other three on the road. These evening games are set to pit the Steelers against several recent playoff participants, promising high‑stakes evenings for fans tuning in across the country.
Perhaps the most novel element is the NFL’s first regular‑season game ever played on French soil. In Week 7 the Steelers travel to Paris to meet the New Orleans Saints in the NFL Paris Game, a matchup that will take place at the Stade de France at 2:30 p.m. local time, or 9:30 a.m. Eastern.
The schedule also features a Black Friday showdown with the Denver Broncos and a Week 18 finale against the Baltimore Ravens, both of which could have playoff implications and serve as a potential preview of a postseason rematch.
Beyond the marquee dates, the Steelers will test themselves against a host of recent playoff participants. They are slated to meet the New England Patriots on September 20 at Gillette Stadium, the Cincinnati Bengals on September 27 at home, and the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football in Cleveland on October 1.
Later in the season, the team will host the Indianapolis Colts on October 11, travel to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers on October 18, and return to Acrisure Stadium for a primetime clash with the Houston Texans on December 6.
The slate also includes a Sunday Night Football appearance against the Cincinnati Bengals on November 15, a Monday Night Football trip to Jacksonville in Week 14, and a regular‑season finale at Baltimore on December 20.
Preseason action will see the Steelers face the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and Buffalo Bills before the regular season begins.
